Copy Cat

While I was doing my usual internet trawling for shoe porn, I came across this delicious little boot.  This is a just released western style shoe boot by "Hush puppy" in the very now, red wine.  I spent a few dreamy moments thinking how much postage from USA would be and what cute spring dresses I could pair it with.  Then, I had a flash of reality and dashed upstairs to the dusty back of my closet and dug out these..... What do you think?  I got these lovely EOS booties last season. I might have have to throw on a few buckles.

Colourful Clown

I am in heaven with all the bright colours coming out at the moment. Show me a shoe (or dress) with bright colours, or patterns, and I would

find it very hard to resist. I probably look like a homeless, clown most of the time, but at least I look like a happy one. Here is a little peek at some gems hidden in my wardrobe. I can't wait to add to them. I would love a little yellow, or coral, or bright green or etc, etc......

We are so busy in the shop, Shoes on Scarborough, at the moment, we are madly organising our VIP night. We'll be launching all the new summer shoes and having a fashion parade. It's always an excellent night and our VIPs are so much fun to hang out with. In preparation, I visited Beautiful You had a mini pedi and have a gorgeous, bright, shellac polish on and I am ready to rumble.

There was an old Woman who lived in a Shoe .....

The original...

"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many children she didn't know what to do. She gave them some broth without any bread. She whipped them all soundly and put them to bed."

My version....

"There was a (youngish) woman who had children of two, she had so many shoes she didn't know what to do. She couldn't afford food, so she only ate bread. She cleaned the shoes lovingly and slept with them in bed."

I may have a problem. These are just my 'casuals'.

All is Fair in Love and War.

We have received so many boxes of new stock that we have to climb over them to get around the stock room. We have been peeking in the boxes and trying them on. We are falling in love over and over. There are a few we all have our hearts set on. It might be a fight to the death. Lucky, I am pretty scrappy but I think some others might fight dirty. On a lighter note, we have organised our first online competition. We have a beautiful pair of Tilly Rose sandals up for grabs on our facebook page www.facebook.com/ShoesOnScarborough. Very pretty. Sadly, I am not allowed to enter. These gorgeous, suede, platforms followed me home on Friday. I love the laced-up detail at the back. I think I'll have to keep them.
