Bling in the Garden

These beauties are an old pair of Django and Juliette sandles I have, and love. They are no longer fit for wearing out in public, however I have moved them into my "house" shoe range. These are now my gardening sandles, or, selecting veges from our vege garden shoes, to be more accurate! I have certainly exercised the Cost-per-wear rule (post from the 28/7/2011).
By moving them into my house shoe range I get even more wears per shoe, Im so clever!

Absolutely no reason why you can't wear a bit of bling whilst gardening, I say. x

Tanning Up For Summer

I am loving all the Tan Toned shoes in the shop at the moment! I have an amazing pair of Mela Purdie white capri pants (from Abby Lee Boutique, of course). I have teamed them up with these tie up Tan sandles. These sandles can also be worn without the ties and are surprisingly supportive on the foot.

The Tan look is right on trend at the moment, as shown is this recent Madison article.

When teamed up with these hot pinks, greens, blues and corals, all in block colours, you cant go wrong !

And whilst we are on the subject of Tanning up, visit Beautiful You, who will give you that all over natural summer glow. If you dont already know, they are at Margate, the Salon is amazing.

Alice in Wonderland

In my travels today I happened upon a magic land. It's a mixture of the Mad Hatters Tea Party, Willy Wonka's, and Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium all wrapped into one. How exciting, a wonderland of sweets! The shop is a work in progress but I think its pretty great so far, you decide for yourself. "Variety Treats" is new and is on the Redcliffe Esplanade, pop in and say hi to Yvonne. It was my inspiration to wear one of each colour of these amazing wedges. I think I am channeling Helena Bonham Carter, well thats my excuse for being crazy anyway. You feel like you can have a lot of fun in this shop, and I did.

Pop in and have High Tea, great sandwhiches and cakes (with real cream).

Amazing sweets selection, that takes you back to your childhood !

The childrens space is still under artists brush and will be great when finished.

My Head is a Jungle

Gee, a girl does love a bit of animal print!
Hmmm, that reminds me, Gee Gees, horses, race season,
Melbourne Cup. Yes, I must have these stunning mustard zebra
shoes I just saw at, guess where?
Shoes on Scarborough of course.

With the popping colour in these shoes I know I can create a Melborne Cup masterpice to wear on the day, I'll tell myself that anyway.
These shoes remind me of that new song  "My head is
a Jungle by Emma-Louise". I cant get it out of my head,
its awesome. I also can't wait for Melbourne Cup day now, so exciting!
