Long Boot with pants - make the look yours

We might not all look like Blake Lively, and maybe we don't even want to - so there !
However, we can all get that strutt it feel about our outfit.
The following pictures are some examples of how you can wear your long boots, with pants. Tucking them under the leg of the pant, gives a boot two different looks for the one spend. So dont be affraid to do this.
Layering is king ! In all the following pictures the clothes have been layered. So change your top and jacket lengths to suit your figure (or hide and reveal the parts you do and dont like).
Get into your wardrobe and have a play, be daring. To the right of each outfit we have placed boots we have in store that will help achieve each look.

These Martini Marcos will assist in achieving this look for $235 per pair.

Tucking long boots under the pants, makes them look like shoe boots and gives two looks from the same boot. Jeans and a long top, with shorter cut jacket and scarf. (Tan Martini Marco boot $220)

Our boot - Aerobics comfort boots in a rich black/brown
colour $289.
New Yorker. Comfortable flat, "retro" look boots.
With this look you could definately wear a wider leg
pant if you dont feel comfortable in skinnies.
If you have a slimmer torso you can focus on that
area with fitted tops, shorter cut jackets for layering.

YSO boot $230.
Longer, higher heeled boots do look classy. Add a longer cut jacket, to reduce the gap between boot and hips, this tones down the "sexy" yet still appreciates the "sexy". If you get what I mean ? Throw in a bit of tame colour, this is the perfect season to take a few more risks in your wardrobe.

Great casual, classy look. Retro flat boots with a looser cut jean and a great loose top. Great look for us in Queensland. You can just add a scarf when it gets a bit cooler. This is a fab transitional look, from Autumn to Winter.

Stay tuned, lots more looks to come - very much fun to be had xx

One Outfit Three Boots - winter boot looks

So this is one outfit, with three different pairs of boots. I also wore versions of this outfit through summer, which I am using to transition into winter by adding boots. As it gets colder I will add scarves and jackets as well.
I have tried to balance out the cost of the outfit by purchasing a designer top and combining this with a lower priced chain store pant, and then some great footwear. My pants were $39, the top was $120. This might be out of your price range but these days, if you shop around you can get great prices, from the likes of Myer and other smaller boutique stores, on some designer styles.
My golden rule is : if you team your lower priced item with a designer piece, the overall finished look still comes up great. Making the cost more manageable and retaining a quality feel to the finished look.
Fashion and footwear may not be your cup of tea. If you want to find your "mojo", this season is a particularly good one to go on that adventure in.

These boots start at $220.

Black basic with a slightly higher heel, handy in any wardrobe.

These Bertuchi nude suede wedge are oozing class and are so comfortable/

Tan is huge this season. I would have to say that this is one of the best tan leathers I have seen come in store. As an added bonus, these are the beautiful little Martini Marcos.

Lots more tips and style images to come - loving this winter. Lots of colour and great fashion xxx
