Slouch boots - a girls must have for winter

 

It has certainly been boot weather lately. If, like me you get cold feet, boots are your best friend. It is funny what boots you end up running to most days. I find myself regularly grabbing my pair of kmb slouchy leather boots. Definitely gaining great cost-per-wear on these.

 

 

 

Don't be frightened to wear these, worn correctly they give a comfy, casual appeal to any outfit. Without looking sloppy. And, did I say they are comfy too. Also, very kind for wider calves.  

 

 

Into summer with a dress.

 

 

If they are good enough for Princess Kate, well ! Very handy addition to your boots collection. From what I can see around the fashion noo-whos, slouch boots are getting bigger all the time. Winter tights season - have fun

 

So, it's officially freeezzing in Queensland at the moment. But there is always a bright side. We can wear some cool clothes, accessories and of course, shoes.

 

Stockings are great with layering and wearable with all sorts of footwear.

 

 

 

This look is completed by adding a stocking. These could be footless, if you don't like a full stocking. You wouldn't know. Obviously a pattern would get lost with the small gap between boot and skirt.

Kmart  has some great cheap tights from 20 denier up. Plain colours and not too expensive.

Our little Zilzi black stunners would look great with a thick stocking, even try other stocking  colours. We have some fabulous darker grey styles. Or try the plainer ones from any of retailers.

 

 

 

 

 

Get out your bling. Throw on a pair of stockings. Have a play, get out all your stuff and just mix and match on a lazy Sunday. It will help over-come anxiety about putting the outfit together and mean that you are more likely to do it - because you are prepared. Oh, and did I say it was fun too.
